September 5 is a special day for all the students in over our country. Luckily, the students nationwide entered the 2020 – 2021 new school year when the Covid-19 pandemic has just been controlled. As every year, together with the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the new school year, the young union members of Khatoco’s Youth Union arranged their work for going to the schools to present gifts which were prepared by themself in more than one month ago to the pupils. On the occasion of opening this new school year, the program “Help children go to school” launched by the Youth Union of Khanh Viet Corporation in cooperation with the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation has presented 764 gifts to 764 needy pupils who have overcome their difficulties in their lives to study well at 16 primary schools in Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Gia Lai and Quang Nam provinces.

This annual program is financed by the charity fund of the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation and the donation from the youth union members of Khatoco’s subsidiary companies. In 2020, through this program, 9640 notebooks, in which 2000 notebooks donated by Khanh Hoa Newspaper’s staff and 1328 sets of clothes with a total value of more than VND 200 million were presented to the pupils.

Taking care of and educating children and teenagers is one of the most important duties, and common responsibilities of the whole society so Khatoco is not the exception. The annual program “Help children go to school”, a beautiful action for the future generations, is only one of many social charitable activities of Khatoco. Although the gift has the small value but it has encouraged the children very much in studying. It is the motivation for them to overcome their difficulties for becoming useful and good citizens to contribute effectively to the cause of building and defending our country.
