On the Saturday morning of April 18, 2020, at the Children’s Club of Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province, the Youth Union of Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) coordinating with the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Province presented 5 sewing machines, fabric and thread for making face masks to the Youth Union of Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province. This meaningful activity aims at joining hands to fight against COVID-19 pandemic in our province and also offering means of livelihood to disadvantaged young union members in this district.
At the present time, the COVID-19 situation has developed to extremely complicated stage in Vietnam and around the world. Thanks to the drastic actions, the correct guidance and the great effort of our Party, our State together with the broad consensus and fully support of entire Vietnamese people, Vietnam has already achieved the certain success in the pandemic prevention and control. However, we should not be subjective that the pandemic will end in the short time. Every organization and individual must continue coordinating actively and closely with each other to fight against coronavirus pandemic.

At now, 5 sewing machines, fabric and thread are use to make face masks for giving free of charge to the people in Khanh Vinh district by a group of volunteers of Khanh Vinh district’s Youth Union. This district is poor and is still facing lot of social and economic difficulties so that this meaningful donation is very practical not only for fighting against the pandemic but also raising the people’s awareness of disease prevention. In the coming time, when the pandemic ends, these sewing machines will be used as means of livelihood for disadvantaged youth union members, contributing to stability of social security in this area. In the context that the disease outbreak continues to impact seriously our lives and businesses, this present from Khatoco’s Youth is a small contribution to difficult reduction in this district.

Additionally, 100 bottles of hand sanitizer with total of over 30 liters made by the Youth Union of Khatoco Printing Joint Stock Company were given to 5 pandemic control stations in Khanh Hoa province.
